Who is responsible

popcodex is the trade name of Martin Reyes, based in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. For any privacy matter, write to hola@popcodex.do or WhatsApp +1 829 562 2225.

What data we collect

Only what you give us and the minimum needed for the website to work and stay protected:

• Contact form: your name, your business name, type of business and the service you are interested in (these three are optional), your WhatsApp number and/or email, your message, the language and the page you write from.
• Feedback form: your message, your email if you choose to leave it, the language and the page.
• Popchat: your questions are sent to the artificial intelligence service to generate the answer. We do not store the conversation.
• Browsing: we measure visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics and count how many times WhatsApp, Popchat or a package is clicked, without cookies and without identifying you. Your IP address is only used technically to show you the website, limit abuse and check that you are not a robot.

What we use it for

To reply to you, prepare your proposal and improve the website. We do not sell your data or send you advertising without your permission.

We use it because you send it to us when you press “Send”: that is your consent.

Cookies

The website does not use its own or advertising cookies.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need to serve you, who process the data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: hosts the website and the database, generates Popchat answers, protects the forms against robots and sends us a notice of each message.
• Proton: the mailbox where we receive your messages.
• WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us on WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s terms.

Where it is stored

These providers may process data on servers outside the Dominican Republic, with their own security measures.

How long

Form messages are deleted automatically after 6 months.

Emails we exchange with you are kept while our relationship lasts or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Under Dominican data protection law (Law 172-13), you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. Write to hola@popcodex.do or WhatsApp +1 829 562 2225 and we will reply as soon as possible.

Minors

The website is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

The website always uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the forms are protected against robots and repeated submissions, and only we can access the messages.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the end of this page.
